| I was watching my Christmas present - G3 Live w/ Satriani, Vai, and Eric Johnson - and I noticed in the bios on the DVD that it mentioned Vai playing in the movie Crossroads. I'd heart that before, so on a whim I fired up the search in YouTube, and found this:

The final piece at the end is just awesome , Ry Cooder gets most of the credit for all the actual playing , but it was really a bloke called Arnold ?? , can't remember his last name . |

No, I can't remember the guy's name, but one of the coaches was Arlen Roth.
And yes, Vai, did almost all of the guitar parts, except for the slide parts, which were done by Ry Cooder. |

I remember reading just after the movie came out , an article about Arlen Roth . How Ry Cooder took all the credit & didn't even mention Arlen , even the album doesn't mention him .
